A hearty kirtan followed by a vibrant Ecstatic Dance.
Musicians Justin bell and friends lead us in devotional singing and chanting. Kirtan is a call and response style chanting which invites your voice to harmonise with the group uplifting the spirit as it becomes one voice of the community. The evening will then transition into ecstatic dance as Theva takes the lead and gets you moving in devotional dancing to raise our energetic vibration.
Opening the throat chakra creates space within us, soothes the vagus nerve and tunes us to each other. This alignment naturally draws us to share the dance floor in truth and integrity, dancing like no one is watching and freeing the inner dancer.
Sing and dance to express and enjoy every cell in your body, release, expand, nurture and flow to divine melodies and rhythmic beats. Connection, community and heart centred dancing with love and kindness at the helm. Singing & dancing pleasure will be our intent, inclusivity and shared humanity will be the outcome.
The Dancing Dhevas community is a group dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking and yet so much is said in the dance, come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities by being in the moment.
Bring drinking water and a cushion for when we sing, turn your phones off and drop the chatter.
We dance bare foot as our floor is our temple.
Doors Open 6:30 and DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.
We chant until 8pm and dance until 9:30, leaving time to share some food socialising.
Come early warm up and settle into the space.
$35 Entry.
Includes GST, booking fee, a donation to the musicians, as well as the delicious chai and cake.
The money collected from booking fees will be supporting children’s charities in Australia.
