RAW: A Dance of Radical Authenticity

RAW is an invitation to bring your whole self onto the dance floor — to be unapologetically you, and to meet others in a space of raw openness… just as we are.
Re-membering Through Movement
At this time of the year, we’re invited to pause, reconnect — and to re-member: to bring ourselves back into connection with ourselves and one another.
So often, conflict arises when we “other” — when we separate ourselves by race, religion, gender, or belief, and loose sight of our shared humanity.
Dance offers another way.
It cuts through the noise. It strips back the stories, the identities, the layers we hide behind… and reveals the simple Truth that we are all human — raw, imperfect, and deeply connected.
So lets bring that onto the dance floor, meet each other in our Raw humane-ness and Re-member our relationship to each other through the Universal language of dance.
Stewart is part DJ, part Musical Minister, his facilitation offers a synthesis of all that he trys to be in life: inspired by a love of music, a desire for growth, and a reverence for life’s mysteries.
Dance is fundamentally a place for Stewart to return home and feel the Whole Self: parts that are Raw and the parts he adores. Stewart sees the Ecstasy of Dance coming from the inside out, and trust that if we can get out of our own way, it will bubble forth in the most unexpected moments.
Stewart is a counsellor, certified as a Soul Motion teacher, trained in Open Floor and more!
TIME:
Saturday April 25th, 6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.
Waged - $30 + BF
Concession - $25 + BF

Cancellation & Event Guidelines
Refunds or ticket transfers to another event can be requested up to 24 hours before the event. After this time, tickets may be transferred to a friend by the ticket holder.
This is an alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free event. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety and integrity of the space.
We invite full presence on the dance floor — no mobile phones, photography, or Shazam. Please arrive ready to be here, just as others are.
This is a barefoot, non-verbal dance space. No shoes and no talking on the dance floor. We gather because we love to dance, to listen, and to move together.

First Time at Dancing Dhevas?
Dancing Dhevas is a free-form conscious dance practice that invites you to move as only you can — with authenticity, curiosity, and freedom. It’s an opportunity to let go of judgement and discover a dance that is uniquely yours, one that can’t be copied or performed.
Conscious dance is an active meditation. As each person drops into their own movement, the room shifts — energy builds, barriers soften, and natural ecstasy emerges. There’s no right or wrong way to dance, only presence.
Come as you are, or bring a friend. We share the floor with like-minded souls, moving together and celebrating life in all its complexity, moment by moment.
What to know:

CANCELLATION POLICY:
