Dancing with our fears and fantasies, simplicities and shames, strengths and weaknesses we find ways to be more responsible and free.

Common Thread is an intimate 5 week closed group intending to accompany us through our lives, creating the possibility of spacious dancing support in everyday life. We’re building a community of dancers who are willing to practice dancing deeply, playfully and seriously, seeking to expand our ability to be spontaneous, honest, responsible and real, To be alive in our bodies, courageous and true in our hearts and generous and receptive in our minds. We will dance but not limited by it, adding other forms of expression to explore how we can be creative and true in our endeavour for freedom and truth.

We may use writing exercises, art or other movement modalities to aid our inquiry and resource us during turbulent times. Peeling back the layers we dance a little deeper, hold each other with tenderness and open hearts, share honestly and form strong bonds of friendship and support.

We will laugh, we will cry, release tension and celebrate each other.

An on going closed group for dancers with at least 10hrs prior experience of Open Floor or similar taught conscious dance practice.

Common Thread begins with a workshop on Saturday Nov 8th and followed by 5 Monday evenings. There is a requirement to commit to all sessions.

Places are limited to 15 in the circle.

As this is an ongoing group the next series will welcome new comers if places open up.

Pricing

$275 Reserves a place in the circle for the whole series.

Cancellation Policy - Refund minus admin fee is available up to 14 days before Common Thread commences after which there are no refunds, however you may transfer your place to someone on the waiting list.

Common Thread counts as 13 prerequisite hrs for the Open Floor teacher training.
